Prof. Dr. Steffi Haag has been leading the Chair of Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Institute of Computer Science at MUHS-Gelsenkirchen since 2022. She researches the design and management of digital user experiences and digital business models. Her goal is to better understand and shape the impact of digital innovations on individuals, organizations, and society.

At MUHS, she bridges the faculties of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and Business Administration and Economics and collaborates with the Center for Entrepreneurship Gelsenkirchen (CEDUS) to inspire computer science and business students to start their own digital ventures.

At DIID, her interest particularly lies in the sustainable design of information systems.
